About AnB
AnB is the signature I've used for years, on drawings, projects and songs. Here it signs the tools and notes I publish.
Background
I've worked in industrial automation for nearly twenty years, after studying automation engineering at university. I started with robotic systems for industrial and civil applications, then moved on to PLC and SCADA systems, industrial networks, monitoring systems and the software that holds them together.
What I work with
- PLCs and SCADA, in particular Siemens S7-1500 and TIA Portal
- Field networks: Modbus RTU and TCP, remote I/O
- Software: C#, .NET, Blazor, MAUI and SignalR, from HMIs to monitoring applications
- Industrial cybersecurity (IEC 62443) and technical documentation for certification bodies
Why these tools
Most of what I publish here comes from a problem I met on site and solved more than once. If a tool saves you an hour during commissioning, it has done its job.
